§ Mr. W. S. MORRISONI am aware of the position to which my hon. Friend refers. The removal of material from the Crumbles area is at present subject to control under by-laws of the Catchment Board, whose proposals to impose further restrictions were the subject of a public local inquiry held by Sir William Graham-Harrison in March last. A bylaw to restrict further the removal of material has recently been made, and I expect to be in a. position to confirm this shortly. The Catchment Board will, I hope, consider what further steps it should take to meet local requirements.
