WOODAccording to returns made to my Department the lowest average prices per superficial foot in contracts for houses let by local authorities during the 12 months ending 29th February, 1936, were 6s. ld. in Calne Borough, and 6s. 2d. in Walsall County Borough and Abergele Urban District. I regret that information in regard to the last part of the question is not available.
