Mr. M. MacDONALDI have seen an announcement of a recent Order made by the Irish Free State Government imposing a new or increased duty on certain classes of cast-iron goods; these duties, I understand, form part of the general tariff of the Irish Free State and apply to all imports from whatever source. The goods affected do not fail into the category of goods subject to emergency duties in the Irish Free State, the duty on which has been reduced under the recent arrangement made.
