HC Deb 17 June 1936 vol 313 c1012W
Mr. PILKINGTON

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs what action he proposes to take as a result of the Report of the South-West Africa Commission concerning Nazi activities?

Marquess of HARTINGTON

The commission of inquiry into the existing form of government in South-West Africa, to whose report I assume that my hon. Friend is referring, was appointed by His Majesty's Government in the Union of South Africa, who are responsible for the administration of the territory. No question of action by His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom therefore arises.
