The SOLICITOR-GENERALI understand that the Committee set up to inquire into the queston of Official Shorthand Writers have now signed and are about to present their Report. I am not, therefore, able to make any statement upon this subject until my Noble Friend, the Lord Chancellor, has had an opportunity of considering the recommendations contained in the Report.
