§ Sir K. WOODI have been asked to reply. Mrs. Woodrow was notified in May last by my Department that her claim for a widow's pension had been rejected because the statutory conditions were not satisfied. She appealed against that decision and her case has been referred to the independent referee appointed under the Contributory Pensions Acts.
