§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThere are several efficient mechanical methods of painting traffic lines which reduce the cost of hand painting. I am, however, about to issue a circular to Highway Authorities encouraging them to use more permanent forms of line marking such as steel, rubber, or other approved studs or blocks laid intermittently to indicate traffic lanes.
