asked the Minister of Labour what number of young persons between the ages of 14 and 16 years of age and what number of young persons between 16 and 25 years of age are unemployed in South Wales and Monmouthshire, and what number in North Wales, separately?

The table below shows the number of young persons, aged 14–15, and aged 16 and under 21, registered as unemployed at Employment Exchanges in South Wales and Monmouthshire and in North Wales at 15th April, 1935:

Statistics of the number of unemployed persons, aged 21 to 24 years inclusive, are not available for 15th April, but at 13th May there were approximately 22,450 unemployed persons of these ages on the registers of Employment Exchanges in South Wales and Monmouthshire, and 3,175 in North Wales.
