HC Deb 28 March 1935 vol 299 c2089W
Mr. T. MORRIS

asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department whether, in the allocation of the Government grant for popularising tourist traffic from abroad, full consideration is given to the claims of Wales as a tourist centre?

Lieut.-Colonel COLVILLE

The grant to which my hon. Friend refers is made to the Travel and Industrial Development Association of Great Britain and Ireland. So far as Wales is concerned, I understand the association devote to that country its full share of all their activities, whether in the form of booklets, broadcasting, exhibitions or otherwise.
