§ Mr. LLOYDThe accounts of the board, which are published annually, show that of the total amount borrowed by the board there had been repaid at the 31st December, 1934, a sum of £301,918. No specific provision has been made for depreciation, but up to the 31st December, 1934, sums amounting to £159,555 have been applied from the revenue and expenditure account in writing down the book value of the assets.
