BROWNThe calculations made for the purpose of the cost of living index number indicate that at 30th November, 1935 (the latest date for which the particulars have been collected), the average percentage increases, as compared with July, 1914, in the prices of domestic coal and of gas were 80 and 45 respectively. I regret that a corresponding figure for electricity is not available.
