§ Mr. RANKINasked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to the report of his inspector into the accident at the level crossing on the Nottingham-Boston line of the London and North Eastern Railway Company that the crossing equipment was old-fashioned and dangerous to the public; and whether he will take steps to ensure that all such crossings which cannot be eliminaaed in the near future are at least modernised, so as to render their operation as safe as possible?
