§ Mr. MANDERasked the hon. and learned Member for Burslem, as representing the Charity Commissioners, the acreage of land at present under administration by the Charity Commission; to what extent this is urban or rural; and the total value?
Mr. W. ALLENThe Charity Commissioners do not themselves administer any lands. Charity lands are administered by the trustees of the charity to which the lands belong. It is not possible for the Commissioners to supply any information as to the total acreage of land belonging to charities under their jurisdiction, or to what extent it is situated in urban or rural districts, or its value.
