§ Sir J. WARDLAW-MILNEasked the Minister of Agriculture whether his attention has been drawn to the unfair competition caused by the sale of Danish butter which has been cold-stored without any statement to that effect at the time of sale, thus misleading the public; and what action is being taken in the matter?
§ Mr. ELLIOTAll imported butter when exposed for sale in this country, has to bear an indication of origin and all imported Danish butter is, in fact, so marked. Accordingly, I do not think that there is any reason for further action in the matter.
