Sir H. YOUNGThe number of persons in Great Britain who on 31st December, 1933, were insured under the National Health Insurance Act was approximately 18,481,000. The age distribution of the persons so insured was last ascertained as at 31st December, 1931, and the number of insured men aged between 55 and 60 was then about 799,000.
