§ Mr. EDENThe motor-ship "Omar" is still detained in Finland, and the appeal in this case has not yet been heard. The Finnish Government have, in consequence, again been urged to expedite the proceedings against this vessel and informed that His Majesty's Government cannot remain indifferent to what, in this case, appears to them an unjustifiable delay in the ordinary processes of justice. His Majesty's Government will continue to press the matter if necessary. The question of claiming compensation for wrongful detention cannot be considered until the Finnish Courts have disposed of the case against the vessel.
