SASSOONNineteen licensed aerodromes have been provided by local authorities, as follow : Blackpool, Bristol, Cardiff, Carlisle, Doncaster, Hull, Inverness, Ipswich, Leeds-Bradford, Liverpool, Manchester, Norwich, Nottingham, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Renfrew, Southampton, Stoke-on-Trent, and1346W Walsall. Sites for aerodromes have been purchased by Brighton-Hove-Worthing (in conjunction), Hastings, Leicester, Rochester and Southport, and a number of other local authorities have proposals for the establishment of aerodromes under active consideration.
