§ Mr. NALL-CAINasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the fact that West African oil-seeds are now subjected to an embargo by Germany and to prohibitive tariffs by the United States of America and other countries, thus causing serious loss to the West African trade in Liverpool, he is in a position to state what steps His Majesty's Government intend to take in order to assist that trade in this matter?
Sir P. CUNLIFFE LISTERI have been asked to reply to this question. I am well aware of the increasing difficulties which are being experienced in disposing of Colonial oil-seeds in foreign markets. The whole matter is under constant consideration.
