Member for Wolverhampton, East (Mr. Mander) was informed on 11th July, this matter has formed the subject of representations by His Majesty's Ambassador at Tokyo to the Japanese Government. The note in reply to these representations has not yet reached me, and I am not therefore in a position to add anything to the statement already made.
