§ Mr. HICKSasked the Minister of Health the number of houses which he has approved for Exchequer subsidy under the Housing (Financial Provisions) Act, 1924, in pursuance of the powers contained in the proviso to Section 1 of the Housing (Financial Provisions) Act, 1933; and the latest date for completion of these houses?
Sir H. YOUNGThe number of houses so approved is rather over 8,000. The 2107W normal date for completion is 31st March, 1934, but I am prepared to entertain applications for extension up to a date not later than 30th June next.
