Mr. HUDSONMy right hon. Friend has stated on several occasions that the responsibility for the provision of lavatories for members of the public attending at Employment Exchanges is not one that can be accepted by his Department. I may point out that every possible step is taken, by means of timing systems and otherwise, to deal with applicants without unnecessary delays. Moreover, notices are exhibited in the Exchanges giving the addresses of the nearest lavatories. As regards the Walham Green Exchange, representations have been received on the subject, but no complaints have been made by the applicants themselves.
