asked the President of the Board of Trade the total importation of boots and shoes (leather) into this country annually for the past five years, giving full particulars of the countries of origin?

Dr. BURGIN

The desired information for each of the years 1929 to 1932 is published in Volume II of the "Annual Statement of the Trade of the United Kingdom—1932." The corresponding particulars for 1933 are being compiled, and I will send them to the hon. Member as soon as possible.
