asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, and when, schemes for land settlement have been constituted on Boggs, in Had-dingtonshire, Balloch, in Dumbartonshire, and Langbank, in Stirlingshire; whether the annual rents to be paid by the tenants have been fixed and, if so, whether he will state the total acreage, the number of holdings, and the total rent for each settlement; the price paid, distinguishing between that paid for woods, minerals, mines, if any, and lands; the cost, or estimated cost, of buildings, roads, fences, water installation, and all other expenditure incurred or to be incurred to bring in the annual rents fixed on each scheme; and whether all or any of the holdings are fully equipped, with steadings?
