HC Deb 18 May 1933 vol 278 c536W
Captain ERSKINE-BOIST

asked the Prime Minister whether Anglo-American co-operation towards the establishment of security and the improvement of economic conditions in Europe equally extends, or is to be extended, to similar aims in the Far East; and, if not, whether he will consider the desirability of such extension?

The PRIME MINISTER

Until we know what instructions regarding security the United States Government has given to its representative at Geneva, I can add nothing to what I said in the House of Commons on 9th May. As to economic conditions, that will depend on what is done at the Monetary and Economic Conference.
