§ Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTERI would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given to the hon. and gallant Member for Berwick (Captain Todd) on the 22nd March in which I stated the reasons for the introduction of Income Tax and the policy which would be followed if and when taxation can be reduced.
