§ Mr. D. GRENFELLasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the desirability of regional tariff agreements for the lowering of tariffs, His Majesty's Government will propose at the World Economic Conference any modification of the most-favoured-nation Clause?
§ Dr. BURGIN:The question of the most-favoured-nation Clause and possible modifications of it has been included in the draft agenda prepared for the Conference. For their part His Majesty's Government are not contemplating any abandonment of the advantages they enjoy under the Clause.
