The figures are as follow: 1912-3 (end of financial year), 499,090 subscribers (730,763 telephones), total revenue for year £5,846,986; 1932-3 (end of financial year), 1,278,625 subscribers (2,137,100 telephones), total revenue for year £24,440,000 (subject to audit).
