§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAI regret that monthly particulars of the imports of tomatoes into the United Kingdom from individual foreign countries are not readily available, but the following table shows the total quantity and declared value of (a) raw tomatoes and (b) tomatoes preserved by canning, with no sweetening matter, imported into the United Kingdom during each of the years 1930 and 1931 and consigned from foreign countries distinguishing the principal countries of consignment. I am sending my hon. and gallant Friend a statement showing the total imports of tomatoes into the United Kingdom from all sources during each month of the years 1930 and 1931.
