HC Deb 07 July 1932 vol 268 c640W
Sir E. SHEPPERSON

asked the Secretary for Mines if he is aware that farmers are being charged ls. 6d. per ton more for coal used to drain their land than they are for the same coal to thresh their corn; and whether he will inquire into the causes of this differentiation of price?

Mr. COLVILLE

I have been asked to reply. My hon. Friend the Secretary for Mines is not aware of this, but if my hon. Friend will be good enough to let him have details, he will have inquiries made.
