§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAI would refer my hon. Friend to the issue for May of the "Accounts relating to Trade and Navigation of the United Kingdom," on pages 42 and 43 of which particulars of the quantity and declared value of hides and skins imported during the first five months of this year are given. The countries of consignment distinguished in these accounts are not necessarily the countries of origin, particulars of which are not recorded. The number of hides imported is not available as these imports are recorded by weight and value only.
