Mr. PEASENo general complaint has reached me as regards the postal service in the Chesterfield district. A few cases of delay to individual postal packets have come under notice recently, but there is no reason to suppose that letters posted in London in the afternoon are frequently not delivered by first post the next morning. Perhaps the hon. Member will let me have particulars of the cases which he has in mind.
