YOUNGParticulars of the receipts and expenditure of the National Health Insurance Funds for England and Wales for the last two years and for the whole period from the commencement of the scheme to the end of the last financial year will be found on pages 308–9 and 318–9 of the Annual Report of the Ministry of Health for 1931–32. Similar particulars for the National Health Insurance Fund for Scotland will be found on pages 166–7 of the Annual Report of the Department of Health for Scotland for 1931. As regards the third part of the question, the sums available for investment are invested in part by the National Debt Commissioners in securities authorised as investments for Savings Banks funds and in part by the approved societies in the securities authorised in Section 71 (2) of the National Health Insurance Act, 1924.
