Sir H. YOUNGThe approval of my Department is not now required to the establishment of ante-natal clinics. The returns for the year 1930, the latest year for which complete information is at present available, show that at the end of that year the number of ante-natal clinics maintained by local authorities and by voluntary associations in London, and in the county boroughs and counties in England and Wales, and the number of sessions held during the year, were as follow:
