§ Mr. BENNNo official representations have been received by His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom from the French Government protesting against the protective duties imposed by the Indian Gold Thread Industry (Protection) Act, 1931, and so far as I am aware the answer to the second part of the question is in the negative.
