§ Mr. CLYNESI have been asked to reply to this question. Crematoria have been established under the Cremation Act, 1902, by the following local authorities in England:
City of London. Leicester. Bradford. Liverpool. Brighton. Nottingham. Ipswich. Sheffield. Hull. Pontypridd. Leeds. I have no official information as to the number of cremations performed in each of the crematoria concerned, but the report of the Cremation Society for the year 1929 gives the following statistics in respect of the years 1925–9: 225W
