§ Mr. LAWSONAt the 19th December last, 208 men were employed on the construction of additional waterworks undertaken by the Rochdale Town Council, with the aid of a grant from Exchequer Funds approved under Part II of the992W Development (Loan Guarantees and Grants) Act, 1929. No application for payment of any instalment of the grant has yet been received from the town council.
