§ Mr. BRACKENasked the Prime Minister whether he will give the House of Commons an early opportunity of reconsidering the arrangement under which the British Broadcasting Corporation are required to exclude political discussions from their programmes?

§ The PRIME MINISTERI regret that in view of the state of public business I cannot provide facilities for a discussion of this subject. Political broadcasting is in fact allowed under arrangements agreed by all parties, and I am informed that the right hon. Member for Bewdley (Mr. S. Baldwin) is delivering a party speech in to-night's programme.
