Mr. HORE-BELISHA

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air how many men were invalided from the Royal Air Force during the year 1930; the number whose invaliding disability was considered to be attributable to the service; the number of men invalided during the same period suffering from consumption; and the number of cases accepted as being attributable to the service; and the number to whom disability pensions were granted.

During the year 1930, 174 airmen were invalided from the Royal Air Force, and in 16 cases the invaliding disability was considered to be attributable to the conditions of service. During the same period, 22 airmen suffering from consumption were
