HC Deb 10 December 1931 vol 260 cc2078-9W
Mr. LEWIS

asked the Minister of Pensions if he will cause further inquiry to be made into the application of Mr. F. M. Horsfield, of 64, Wimpole Road, Colchester, for a continuance of his disability pension, which has been discontinued despite the fact that his condition is now worse than it was when the pension was originally granted?

Lieut.-Colonel HEADLAM

This case has been fully investigated. The degree of disablement resulting from war service has been fixed by final awards made under the War Pensions Act, 1921, which constitute a statutory settlement of the case. A recent investigation has revealed no ground on which special action by the Ministry would be justified.
