HC Deb 10 December 1931 vol 260 cc2064-5W
Mr. EADY

asked the President of the Board of Trade if there is any commercial treaty with any foreign country that will interfere with any preferential agreements with regard to tariffs that we may want to make with the Dominions?

Major COLVILLE

There are no treaties under which His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom would be required to extend to any foreign country any privileges in the matter of Customs Duties which are or may be accorded to another part of the Empire.
