HC Deb 04 December 1931 vol 260 c1417W
Mr. HARRIS

asked the President of the Board of Trade what quantities of grease-proof paper, excluding vegetable parchment and transparents, were imported into this country in the first nine months of 1929, 1930, and 1931, respectively; and what quantities were manufactured in this country during the same period?

Mr. HORE-BELISHA

The imports of grease-proof paper, as such, are not separately recorded in the trade returns of the United Kingdom; neither am I in a position to supply my hon. Friend with the figures asked for in the last part of the question.
