HC Deb 20 April 1931 vol 251 c630W
Mr. MACLEAN

asked the Minister of Labour the number of juveniles who would come under the unemployment insurance scheme if the age of entry was reduced from 16 to 15 years?

Mr. LAWSON

It is estimated that if the age of entry into unemployment insurance were reduced to 15 years at the present time, approximately 350,000 juveniles would be brought within the scheme.
