HC Deb 20 April 1931 vol 251 cc625-6W
Captain P. MACDONALD

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether the establishment of a State air service by the Indian Government will in any way prevent or necessitate the alteration of existing arrangements for British long-distance air services using Indian aerodromes?

Mr. MONTAGUE

There are no existing arrangements for British air services beyond Karachi over Indian territory. The air mail service between Karachi and Delhi is an Indian State air service temporarily operated by Imperial Airways under a charter from the Indian Government.
