§ Dr. HASTINGSasked the President of the Board of Education whether he will withhold his approval from the Oxfordshire Education Committee's scheme for breaking up the only undenominational school in Henley-on-Thames and transferring all scholars over the age of eight years to two Church of England schools?
§ Sir C. TREVELYANThe managers of the existing undenominational school at Henley are unable to remedy the defects in the premises of the school, and the education authority propose to replace it by a new council school for infants. It is proposed at the same time to carry out a reorganisation of the public elementary schools in Henley on the lines of the Hadow Report, and as this will be greatly to the advantage of the children, I see no reason to take exception to the proposal.
