§ Sir C. TREVELYANA short review of the provision made for the education of the deaf is given each year in the annual report of the Chief Medical Officer of the Board of Education, the matter being dealt with at greater length than usual in the report for 1927 (Appendix B). The names of the certified schools for the deaf are given in the Board's List 42, and the statistics relating to these schools are given in Tables 27–30 of the Board's Annual Statistics.
