§ Lieut. - Commander KENW0RTHYasked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware that prior to the War the Chinese Government protested against the conditions attaching to the indentures of the Chinese coolies in Samoa; and whether any communication has passed between the Chinese Government and the Foreign Office upon the decision to extend these indentures?
