Mr. ALEXANDERIt is intended to make full use of the available capacity of Chatham Dockyard in the construction of the two smaller submarines of the 1929 programme. Only such work will be ordered elsewhere as cannot be conveniently dealt with at Chatham Yard. At the present stage, no estimate of cost or statement of the nature of the work can be given.
