HC Deb 16 May 1930 vol 238 c2220W
Mr. JAMES STUART

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether it is his intention to carry out any schemes for drainage works under the Land Drainage (Scotland) Act, 1930; if so, whether any scheme to deal with the Spey is included among those contemplated; and when the draft scheme will be available?

Mr. W. ADAMSON

Certain schemes under the Land Drainage (Scotland) Act are at present under consideration by the Department of Agriculture for Scotland, including one dealing with the River Spey. I cannot, however, say at present when the draft scheme relating to the Spey will be available.
