§ Miss BONDFIELDI would remind my hon. Friend that the existing Unemployment Insurance Acts cover all unemployed persons normally insurable who have paid eight unemployment insurance contributions in the past two years or a total of 30 contributions at any time. The provisions of the Acts in respect of persons with less than 30 contributions in the past two years are temporary, but further proposals with regard to them will be made to Parliament before those provisions expire.
