asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether recent negotiations have taken place with the Nanking Government of China for the delivery of British tanks?

Mr. DALTON

No, Sir, not so far as His Majesty's Government are concerned. At the request of the Nanking Government, however, a British firm recently supplied 11 tanks and has contracted to deliver 12 more.
